The Yard, The Liberty’s private outdoor courtyard, is a chic outdoor venue, perfect for warm-weather cocktails, lite bites, relaxation and private events. Complete with sofas and cocktail tables, The Yard possesses all the secluded ambiance of a Beacon Hill secret garden.
There is no service here unless booked privately. During Yappier Hour on Wednesdays, there will be an outdoor bar for all guests, locals, and their furry friends to enjoy.
Join us for a variety of seasonal events in The Yard, such as Yoga throughout the summer, annual bbq’s and cookouts, curling (seasonal in the winter months) and Yappier Hour.

Join Benny, our Director of Pet Relations, on our outdoor patio, where cocktails flow, music plays, and furry friends of all kinds are warmly welcomed. Embrace the season with your pups at The Liberty Hotel, proudly known as Boston’s premier dog-friendly destination. Yappier Hour takes place every Wednesday (weather permitting) at 5:30pm in The Yard and are oftentimes accompanied by dog-friendly vendors.
