Summer Cocktails at The Liberty Bar

Here at The Liberty Hotel, we place you within easy reach of the very best Beacon Hill has to offer, which means an enticing array of restaurants, bars, and lounges for making a night of it in the heart of historic Boston.

Of course, you can make a night of it without even stepping outside our sumptuous hotel, which has turned the historic Charles River Jail into Boston’s premier luxury accommodations. From the standout New England cuisine of CLINK. and the Italian delicacies of Scampo to late-night refreshments at Alibi (the jailhouse’s old drunk tank), we supply outstanding in-house wining and dining in swoonworthy settings.

Today we’re putting the spotlight on another of our linchpin establishments: The Liberty Bar. You won’t find a snazzier watering hole than this lounge within our 90-foot lobby rotunda, and this time of year it’s the perfect place to quench your thirst with a summer cocktail!

There’s nothing like kicking back at the bar or in one of our plush seats with one of the exquisitely crafted drinks that The Liberty Bar’s talented roster of mixologists whip up. These artisanal cocktails make the perfect libations for a summer afternoon or evening.

Consider the vodka-steadied, cucumber-accented Light & Sunny, for example, or our trademark Liberty Sangria. Or perhaps you’ll be reaching for one of our Sleek Cocktails, all with 175 calories or less: the Garden Elixer, for instance, a marvelous marriage of vodka, rosé and lime botanically boosted with muddled grapes, cucumber, mint, and a splash of prosecco.

Savor a “Frosé” at Yappier Hour

And on the subject of summertime pleasures we’d be absolutely remiss not mentioning our popular “Yappier Hour” out in the hotel courtyard, where pooches and dog-owners alike soak up the friendly weather with suitably friendly drinks. You can enjoy any number of refreshing beverages, among the most popular of which is our frozen rosé: “frosé,” of course. Yappier Hour takes place every Monday and Wednesday from 5:30pm – 8:30pm (weather permitting) through the end of October.
