Father’s Day BBQ in Beacon Hill
What are some of your favorite childhood memories with your father? Maybe they’re of long bike rides, afternoons at the movies, or games of catch in the front yard. But we bet that at least a few of them are of warm summer evenings in the backyard, eating delicious food straight off the grill. Bring Dad back to those days and show him how much he means to you by letting us take care of the grilling this year so that you can spend time together.
This Father’s Day, the Liberty Hotel is hosting our 6th annual cookout to celebrate dads! Held in the Yard, our private outdoor courtyard, this event is the perfect opportunity for the whole family to make Dad’s day truly memorable.
He can start the day off with a bourbon cocktail or a glass of wine or beer as you all enjoy the beautiful outdoor space and live musical accompaniment. Then get ready for some serious BBQ! Chef Daniel Kenney is pulling out all the stops for Dad, with options including hand-carved, slow-smoked steamship of Angus beef, wood-grilled, lager-brined organic chicken, and a whole host of artisanal sides. Choose between early summer corn with sweet peppers and smoked butter, molasses-and-bacon-braised Boston baked beans, Caprese salad with fresh mozzarella, and more.
And, of course, there’s dessert! Appeal to your dad’s DIY side with our make-your-own sundae bar. We’ll have strawberry, chocolate, and vanilla bean ice creams ready for you to fix up with all your favorite toppings, as well as freshly-made baked goods like salted caramel brownies, cookies, and Maine blueberry crumble bars. Then Dad can finish the night off with a hand-rolled cigar – the perfect end to a perfect BBQ with his family.
