Right in the heart of Beacon Hill, The Liberty Hotel was once the Charles Street Jail, and the inner courtyard is a masterpiece – octagonal in shape and flooded with natural light. While the rooms only have subtle nods to the building’s history, the Clink bar is set in the former cells.
